Former PCB chairman Ehsan Mani and CEO Wasim Khan had appointed Nadeem as director domestic cricket

Former Test cricketer Moin Khan supported his brother Nadeem Khan who was sacked by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

On Tuesday, PCB dismissed Nadeem from his post in women's wing. After the management committee led by Najam Sethi took charge of PCB last December, Nadeem was removed from his post of director domestic cricket.

In a video message, Moin took a dig at people around management committee chairman and emphasised on their accountability.

"Moin Khan and family has always earned respect by working with honesty for Pakistan. Nadeem is my elder brother and he worked with honesty for Pakistan's domestic cricket," said the former wicketkeeper batter.

"Nadeem worked on the instructions of previous chairman. His work has been recognised at every level. I am confident that he will make himself available for Pakistan in the future," he added.

Former PCB chairman Ehsan Mani and CEO Wasim Khan had appointed Nadeem as director domestic cricket. The ex-cricketer helped previous setup in executing regions-based domestic cricket as per the direction of former premier Imran Khan.

Moin asked Sethi to identify corrupt and dishonest people around him. "People who allege others of corruption, they should look at themselves first. They are also corrupt and find shortcuts to come into the PCB in every tenure," he said.

"I have often highlighted such people and I will keep on doing this in the future as well. If I start speaking, a lot of people will be in trouble. Najam Sethi is a visionary man, he should identify dishonest people around him and develop a strong system to run the board fluently," he added.

Moin also highlighted that lobbies work against Karachi players. "People come up with proof that how lobbies work against Karachi players. In every tenure, lobbies work against the players of Karachi," he concluded.
